Multiverse Series Prologue

If you can read this, that means you too have been transported from the same dimension as me. Sorry to break it to you, this isn't some sort of dream. Whatever contents you find in this journal I hope you keep to yourselves, it isn't something you would want in the wrong hands. I'll tell you now that whatever else you may do, do not trust the government's Multiverse Transport System, or MTS. If you do you and anyone in our universe will probably regret it. If you don't trust the warning, then read my journal and follow the evidence yourself. Anyways here's the good news, you shouldn't have a hard time communicating with vocal creatures as English has been adapted as a somewhat common language which they call trader's tongue. Stick to really basic English though, they've really narrowed down the language. There's no ocean or sea, just water; there's no good, better, best, just add more and most to anything of that sort. You'll get the gist of it once you start talking to the natives around here. You won't be able to read, which is why it's great leaving this in our alphabet. The writing here is made with just one or two strokes of a writing instrument for a letter, and a some of the letters have been taken out of the language altogether.

I hope whoever you are that you have an easier time at this than me. If you learn from my mistakes, you're in for a fantastic journey. If not, you may loose your sanity, health, even your life, and feel you are in a never ending nightmare. My first advice, unless you're 100% sure it's not sentient assume that it is, there may be whole civilizations just a breath's away and you don't even see it. Try not to offend anyone, if you do tell them you just arrived from universe 91786. No this isn't ours, ours is uncatalogued and unknown to the government, and I've been trying my best to keep it that way. I implore you, never tell anyone that you come from an unknown universe. If you just want a way home come find me, I know how to get back. I hope though, you will instead take up my cause and put an end to the MTS.

The man in all the wanted posters,
Richard Rabel
